below is one of my favourites of her photographs - candy cigarette
for the longest time i had a copy of this picture saved on my computer, not knowing who had taken it or who it was taken of
when i finally figured out it was sally mann i was so pleased to actually be able to look at her other work
but i remember i originally thought the cigarette that this girl (mann's daughter) is holding was real - i had such stories whizzing about in my head with regards to the life of this little girl
when i finally found out it was candy i was, actually, a little disappointed
regardless, i love this photograph
